We’re proud to share our 2024–2025 Community Impact Report, highlighting another record-breaking year for Level Best Enterprises.
With support from our wonderful team, Trustees, partners and customers, our Trainees have achieved incredible things across all four of our social enterprises Café, Art, Seasonal and Gardening.
In the last 12 months:
94 placements were supported for young people with learning disabilities
8,798 training sessions helped build skills and confidence
Our Café earned a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award
Trainees sold 466 original artworks and proudly exhibited across Essex
We launched new products including chai tea, eco-friendly confetti, and garlic seasoning made from food scraps all Trainee-made and café-tested
We were recognised regionally and nationally too as nominees for the National Diversity Awards and the Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards, and winning Highly Commended at both the Colchester and Essex Business Awards.
But it’s not just the numbers. Our café is described by visitors as a “happy place,” our enterprises are blooming, and our Trainees are thriving. They’re not just learning they’re shaping the future of inclusive enterprise.
