This February, Level Best is marking LGBTQ+ History Month, alongside our usual Valentine’s celebrations.
LGBTQ+ History Month is a UK-wide event held every February. It exists to recognise the history, achievements and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people, and to raise awareness of the importance of equality and inclusion.
At Level Best, we believe everyone should feel welcome, respected and able to be themselves. Marking LGBTQ+ History Month is one way we reflect those values in our everyday work.
What we’re doing for LGBTQ+ History Month
Throughout February, we’ll be introducing themed treats, arts and produce that help acknowledge and celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month.
In our cafe, we’ll have a special rainbow hot drink on the menu, available alongside our Valentine’s drinks.
We’ll also be selling our rainbow cards and prints, and we’ll be developing new rainbow-inspired jams and cakes, adding something a little different to our usual handmade produce.
Why we care about LGBTQ+ History Month
LGBTQ+ History Month is about visibility and recognition. For many people, LGBTQ+ histories and experiences have not always been openly acknowledged.
By taking part in the month, we’re reminding everyone that our spaces are inclusive and that difference is respected. We are proud that our everyday actions can nurture an environment where people feel safe and valued. Join us all through February 2026!
